The client wanted to transform the internal spaces and add open plan living space through contemporary extensions and additions to this existing family home.  

The Studio proposed a minimalist rear extension with lightweight glazing to flood natural light into the new open plan living areas at ground level. Cleverly designed architectural planters extend the contemporary architectural approach into the garden areas and further conceal a barbeque patio to the side of the property.

Light was further punctured through this beautiful home with a skylight atrium at second floor level which in turn was transformed into a master suite through large contemporary flat roof dormers, echoing the lightweight contemporary architectural language of the ground floor extension.
