Somerden Hop Barn, Tonbridge Road

The project involved the conversion of an existing agricultural barn into a characterful residential dwelling within a scenic rural setting. The intention of the design was to bring new life into a dated masonry building which was in need of significant restoration.  The proposal forms a central core with an open plan kitchen dining and living area to the south; utilizing natural light and the stunning views. To the north of the building is a family room and other spaces including a study, boot room and WC.
