Sevenoaks District Council have recently granted planning permission for a first-floor rear extension in Knockholt.

The works include internal reconfigurations at the ground floor, creating a more modern open plan layout. A first floor rear extension above the existing ground floor, this creates an additional master bedroom with accompanying en-suite. A projecting window seat is proposed to the side elevation, giving views of the rear garden whilst creating a statement feature for the dwelling.

The materiality references the existing whilst modernising the appearance of the house.
