We are delighted to have gained planning approval on another local scheme based in Westerham, Kent. The project is to provide more open plan living space for a typical 1980’s bungalow by moving two of the five bedrooms into the loft space. A notable feature will be the central glazed slot that slices the building in two. The dramatic double height space provides both the new entrance hall and stairwell, with a top landing that bridges across the gap between the two halves. The re-configured ground floor is given over to lounge and kitchen/dining areas that fully exploit the fine southerly views across the weald by means of new bi-fold doors on to an enlarged terrace.
