PLANNING APPROVAL FOR A NEW BUILD DWELLING

We have received planning approval from Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council to create a new build dwelling with a subterranean basement.

The rural site is located in the greenbelt, AONB and next to an ancient woodland and consists of a main house with a number of outbuildings. The main house suffers from subsidence and the outbuildings are not in great shape. Therefore, we designed a new three storey dwelling which includes an impressive basement, a ground floor which optimises surrounding views of the countryside and creates a guest annexe/art studio whilst upstairs, there are three large bedrooms, all with their own ensuites.

The dwelling will focus on a natural and harmonious look, with the aim of complimenting the rural landscape. We have proposed that the façade is a combination of natural stone, vertical natural timber, light coloured brickwork and off-white metal cladding panels. The undulating roofs will have a mixture of solar panels and sedum green roofs to compliment the sustainable nature of the build.
