OPEN architecture have been granted planning approval for the conversion of Carlton Cinema, on St Johns Hill, in Sevenoaks, Kent.

This historic cinema has been through many changes in its lifetime and is now going to be revitalised and converted into 8 residential apartments, retaining the existing building fabric in its main form.

The historic façade is complimented by a modern rooftop extension as well as a new façade facing the street.
