We have received planning permission from Sevenoaks District Council for a new build dwelling in Hartley, Kent. We loved working with our client on this scheme as it responds sensitively to the constraints of the greenbelt, creating a unique and modern family dwelling. The contemporary design incorporates large areas of glazing to capitalise on views of the historic orchard surrounding the site, and a central courtyard to allow light and a feeling of openness throughout the house.

The ground floor responds to the local topography, stepping down with the slope of the land to create voluminous kitchen and dining areas for entertaining, while a concealed basement provides more intimate family-orientated spaces.
