OPEN architecture are delighted to have been granted planning approval from Sevenoaks District Council for the works to a property on Oak Lane, in Sevenoaks, Kent. The aim of the scheme was to design a rear extension to facilitate a large open plan kitchen, living and dining space which links to the garden. The existing garage will be replaced with a side extension to include garage, gym, changing facilities and winery on the ground floor. A bedroom, living area and en-suite on the first floor will be accessed via a new staircase. The existing entrance porch will be removed and replaced with additional concealed glazing to allow more natural light into the core of the house. The loft will be converted to include two light and spacious bedrooms.
