PLANNING GRANTED FOR REAR EXTENSION IN IDE HILL
Sevenoaks district council have given planning approval for a single storey rear extension with various internal alterations and landscaping improvements for a residential property in picturesque Ide Hill. The house is located in a prominent position on the Village Green. Plans include opening up the ground floor to include a large lofty open plan kitchen diner with an interconnected family room. The family room also connects nicely to the wrap around garden on three sides. Other alterations include a new guest suite, boot room and utility as well as revamping the formal entrance to the home. The new design will take sustainability factors into account including possible ground source heat pump usage and a green roof as well as sustainable building practices.
