The proposal includes the construction of a single storey rear extension to create an open plan living, dining space with views overlooking the garden. The existing garage and outbuildings are to be demolished and replaced with a two storey side extension to provide an enclosed garage space, and improve the space to the master bedrooms. The loft is to be converted to introduce a new bedroom, bath and playroom with a rear dormer and rooflights. The basement is to be excavated to provide leisure facilities lit by natural light via a front light-well and access to the rear garden.
