PLANNING PERMISSION GRANTED FOR A NEW GARDEN ROOM

PLANNING PERMISSION GRANTED FOR A NEW GARDEN ROOM

This week, we have been granted planning permission by Sevenoaks District Council for the build of a garden room which will sit separate to the main house and located in a village just north of Sevenoaks town.

The new garden room will be under 40sqm in size and so will suit all permitted development guidance. It has been designed as an L-shape which allows for a seating area to the rear, a WC and a storage cupboard. A set of corner bifolds will allow full views of the garden and the main house. The building itself will be made from local materials such as flint, slate, and timber to be in keeping with the character of the area and main house.

And finally, a patio will wrap around the space with a fire pit area, seating/dining zone and an area for a standalone cooking area.

We hope this will be complete in time for a festive winter party with marshmallow roasting!
