Ian, Stuart and Neil all participated in the Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon that took place on Sunday 22nd February. Renowned for the scenic and challenging route (the 300 foot ascent of Spring Hill at Fordcombe is to be mentioned), meticulous organisation, value for money and friendly marshals, it was voted the ‘Most Improved Race in the UK’ in 2009 and was voted the No.2 Half Marathon in the UK in 2011 by Runner’s World readers.

Stuart crossed the finish line first with an impressive time of 1h49mins, shortly followed by Ian at 1h51mins and then Neil at 1h54mins.

The boys had a great time, and despite having a bit of a stiff walk today, will be signing up again for next year’s event.
