Sevenoaks District Council has granted planning permission for a garden room with basement alongside various landscape alterations in Ide Hill.

The ground floor plan layout is comprised of a gym with shower room overlooking the mature garden.

There is a ‘secret’ cellar with access via the ground floor. There are large bifolds to the front with a wildflower monopitched roof so that the outbuilding blends into garden.

The façade is black timber and the materials chosen suit both the landscape as well as the nature of the building.

Directly outside of the garden room is a paved area for lounge seating and firepit for those cosy marshmallow evenings.
