Sevenoaks District Council have recently granted planning permission for a new build, modern style ‘cottage’ in beautiful Otford.

As the scheme sits near to both the greenbelt and the AONB, the materials were chosen to reflect the local character whilst ensuring a modern and sympathetic approach to the client’s wish list. The overall design has a feature porch with herringbone brickwork, timber effect windows, textured brickwork, clay tile hanging, and weather timber alongside various catslide and hipped roof forms.

The layout of the spaces allow for flexibility whilst ensuring a light, bright family home which will last for generations. The design also takes in extension landscaping works including an alternative driveway position, raised firepit and terrace and an outbuilding.
