Many of the residential projects we work on have one or more existing extensions which can lead to a jumbled internal layout and front and rear elevations which have design features from every era!

The brief we received from the Client of this 8 bedroom house in Sevenoaks asked us to look at how we unify the house externally and create a more open plan space inside for their family. We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve just received planning permission from Sevenoaks District Council to create a more spacious kitchen, dining and snug area and upstairs adapt the layout to convert two bedrooms into a study and gym. There will also be an additional staircase to lead up to a loft conversion which will house an additional bedroom, informal seating area and en-suite. Externally, the scheme proposes to replace all the existing windows and doors and the changes inside, will lead to a new squared off bay window. This will help to provide a cohesive design and ensure the house has a modern and contemporary appearance.
