BRADBOURNE VALE ROAD SCHEME FOR 15 APARTMENTS APPROVED BY SEVENOAKS DISTRICT COUNCIL
OPEN architecture are delighted to have been granted planning permission for works to Northside, 51 Bradbourne Vale Road, in Sevenoaks, Kent.
This scheme proposes for the demolition of the existing dwelling and replacement with a 15 unit residential development.
The site is approximately 0.19Ha, and the current dwelling is in disrepair, and the application site overgrown and unmanaged.
The proposal has been positioned on site to be in line with the adjacent apartment building at Roma Court, strengthening the street scene and designed in a grand vernacular style; appropriate for this key area of Sevenoaks.
All trees at the rear of the site are being retained whilst additional tree screening is to be added at the front to define the boundary between public and private space. There is a large southern facing communal garden, with all ground floor units having access to private amenity gardens and individual garden entrances. Provision for Car Parking spaces and associated cycle spaces are also in excess of local requirements.
