We have been granted planning permission by Bromley Council to change external windows and door fenestration and internal alterations to remodel both the ground and first floor of this detached property in Chislehurst as well as new outbuilding forming a Garden Room /Home Office. We are often asked to create open planning living but for this family, they were looking for more cellular living to allow everyone to have their own space. One of the main changes we made to the ground floor, was separating the existing open plan living room to create an internal hallway by using bookcases. Upstairs has been rearranged so the new master bedroom has a double aspect with an en-suite at the front an a dressing room to the rear. Windows and fenestration as well external material have been changed to create a more contemporary feel.
