PLANNING PERMISSION FOR A NEW BUILD REPLACEMENT IN SOUTH LONDON

PLANNING PERMISSION FOR A NEW BUILD IN SOUTH LONDON

We have just received approval for a new build replacement dwelling in Blackheath, South London from the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Whilst the existing property itself is not listed, it is located on a street where there are a series of late Georgian and early Victorian detached houses. It is also in a conservation area and was the subject of previously refused applications. Therefore, our proposal looked at a design which from the front was more traditional and in keeping with the local architecture by using materials that closely match the existing building. In contrast, the treatment of the rear has a much more modern twist with a central gable and black crittal style glazing creating a modern home over four storey’s including a basement. We also developed the site plan to include an outdoor office and kitchen area.

We are inspired by the people we work with
