We have received planning approval for a proposed two storey rear extension to an existing dwelling. The proposal replaces an existing single-storey extension to optimise the layout, enhance the appearance of the property and ground the building in the landscape.

The scheme includes a brick clad single storey wrap around element, serving to improve the kitchen/dining area which spills out onto the garden, and a first floor extension above to be fully clad in clay tiles with a hipped crown roof to match the profile of the existing.

Corner windows are included to both floors which maximize natural light, along with an expansive window across the back of the kitchen. The feature circular window is strategically placed to frame a key view across the garden from the breakfast nook.
