We were appointed to design a modern single storey rear extension with internal alterations to suit the addition of an internal lift for a Victorian property located in Sevenoaks Conservation Area.

Towards the back of the existing property, the rooms were small, disjointed and dark. Our scheme looked at maximising the flow and increase access to reinvigorate these spaces and become much more useable. The new extension will sit largely on the footprint of the existing, but with an open design allowing for a wonderful kitchen/dining/seating area that can be used by all members of the family. A large roof light is positioned over the dining area to allow more light into the darker area of the home.

Importantly, a new home lift has been added to the central core of the home allowing for access across all three floors.

We’re thrilled that this scheme has been approved by Sevenoaks District Council and look forward to the next stage of works.
