APPEAL ALLOWED IN BLACKHEATH CONSERVATION AREA
The national planning inspectorate has allowed an appeal case in the Blackheath Conservation Area and Cator Estate. The design was for a partial basement, part single and part double storey rear extension alongside internal alterations to suit and fenestration upgrades.
The overall design focused on creating a more modern and sophisticated home to allow for the family with teenage children to have both entertaining and private spaces. The ground floor was opened up to create an open plan kitchen/living/dining area with access to a rear terrace. The bedrooms on the first floor were designed to have ensuites and walk-in wardrobes as well as a fabulous master bedroom with vaulted ceiling. The loft floor was reconfigured to allow for an ensuite and better flow of space.
