PLANNING APPROVAL FOR TWO DETACHED HOUSES IN EAST SUSSEX

We have just received planning approval from Rother District Council to divide a large plot of land into two, in the picturesque village of Ticehurst for the self-build of two three-bed detached houses.

The plot of land currently has a small run-down bungalow and is located within the High Weald ANOB. It’s also sits in the ground of a former hospital which is on the register of Historic parks and gardens.

The approved schemes will have a strong ecological emphasis and will include sustainable technologies and building methods. These will include high thermal performance insulation and high efficiency/renewable heating in order to minimise the developments carbon footprint.
